Post-Exposure Evaluation

Following the incident, UNC will provide you with a post exposure medical evaluation.

This evaluation may include:

1. Documenting routes of exposure
2. Documenting circumstances of the incident
3. Identifying sources of contamination
4. Blood tests for HIV, HBV with consent from employee
5. Post exposure prophylaxis and counseling
