How to Conduct a JSA: Document Training Needed

When you have finished listing the tasks, hazards, and controls, write down any training that is required for the specific work task. Some examples include:
  1. "Hands-on" training in the proper use of the operation and/or equipment by the shop supervisor and/or most experienced Mechanic in the shop.
  2. Use of PPE (upon initial assignment to the job).
  3. Use of fire extinguisher.
  4. First aid procedures and location of the first aid kit.
Any Department or EHS Required Safety Training.
