How to Conduct a JSA: Document Training Needed
When you have finished listing the tasks, hazards, and controls, write down any training that is required for the specific work task. Some examples include:
- "Hands-on" training in the proper use of the operation and/or equipment by the shop supervisor and/or most experienced Mechanic in the shop.
- Use of PPE (upon initial assignment to the job).
- Use of fire extinguisher.
- First aid procedures and location of the first aid kit.
Any Department or EHS Required Safety Training.
